Grow Local SEQ is a regional strategy under development by Queensland Conservation Council that aims to increase the production and consumption of locally grown food across Southeast Queensland.

This full day Forum will introduce this campaign strategy and discuss a whole-of-region approach to local food production programs. Speakers include:

  • Toby Hutcheon, Executive Director Queensland Conservation
  • Cam Walker, Friends of the Earth (Victoria)
  • Merv Moorhead, Organic banana grower (Wamuran)
  • Dick Copeman, Northey Street City Farm
  • Rob Pekin, Food Connect

An afternoon session facilitated by Mary Maher will provide attendees with the opportunity to contribute to the campaign strategy; and to document policy and legislative barriers to local food production.
Registration is $50 per person inc GST
