Local Food Picnic, Saturday May 16th

What to bring: A plate of local seasonal food to share, your thermos, picnic rug, plate, cup and cutlery.

It's on again! Last year's Local Food Picnic at Crystal Waters was great fun for all!

At the last Sustainable Maleny public forum, all attendees were in favour of doing a Local Food Picnic.

The idea behind a local food picnic is to source all the ingredients of our picnic from within a 100km radius - the closer the better. The task is made a little easier by the presence of the Blackall Range Growers' Market happening at the same venue, same time. However, variety of food is always good at a shared picnic.
