Obi Obi Parklands: Action stations!
It seems that we may have a decent chance of seeing a good outcome for the Precinct land, but we need to get busy.
The bottom line is that we need to get as many Council feedback forms filled in as possible, rejecting an 18 hole golf course and supporting Obi Obi Parklands. We have until the 17th of September.
You can get evaluation sheets from the Maleny Library. There is also an information desk there which will be staffed by some friendly pro-garden people.
You can volunteer to cover one of the many empty timeslots at an information desk by contacting Sammy Ringer:
sammyringer AT optusnet.com.au
You can sign up to knock on a few doors on your street by contacting Michael Cole-King:
You can learn more about Obi Obi Parklands by visiting the fantastic website:

For a full kit, including map, FAQ, name tag, example Council Feedback form, and other information all packaged together in a neat black
clipboard, contact Michael Cole-King:
mcoleking AT planet-save.com
I will attempt to get a digital copy of some of the material in the kit and make it available on the Sustainable Maleny website or this
email list.
There are also some funky T-shirts available for $20. I don't yet have the contact details for the person managing this.
