Free public lectures: the secrets of soil

Three experts in the cutting edge of sustainable agriculture techniques will address the public in an evening of lectures at Maleny Town & Country Supplies next Tuesday.

Matt Kilby of Trees For Earth (and an active participant in Sustainable Maleny's Bridgecreek Gardens project), is a passionate exponent of the mineral/microbe balancing approach to tree farming. He will explain his techniques for achieving maximum survival and growth rates.

Graeme Sait of Nutri-Tech Solutions, which specialises in the relationship between soil health, animal health & human health, will discuss his company's world-leading strategies in "biological agriculture".

Robert Swindlehurst of Catalyst Environment and Education Services is involved in a number of projects which include aquaculture, wastewater treatment, commercial composting, soil re-mediation, sludge treatment, biological odour control and the use of beneficial microbes in animal and plant production.
