It's on again! Last year's Local Food Picnic at Crystal Waters was great fun for all!

At the last Sustainable Maleny public forum, all attendees were in favour of doing a Local Food Picnic.

The idea behind a local food picnic is to source all the ingredients of our picnic from within a 100km radius - the closer the better. The task is made a little easier by the presence of the Blackall Range Growers' Market happening at the same venue, same time. However, variety of food is always good at a shared picnic.

Please also bring along a list of the sources of your ingredients so that we can learn from each other about what is available locally (growers, producers). Let this be a fun and delicious was to do research about our local food. We can collate this information and distribute it to the community to help support the local growers and producers.
