This seminar and forum will work toward an integrated approach to organics waste management on the coast – basically pulling the organics out of the dump to minimize methane production and using it wisely on the land to increase soil carbon. The Sunshine Coast Waste Management Strategy is currently being developed and this forum is timed to feed into that process.

Organisers SEQ Catchments and Waste Management Association Australia are specifically seeking participation from rural producers and community members to attend this important regional event to ensure the discussion is realistically grounded and has offered a subsidised entry ($30) for those attendees.
