You can be 100% food self reliant at a bioregional &
local level - imagine never having to wheel a
supermarket trolley again! Want to know more...

To achieve the goal of community scale food
interdependence, Robina applies her methods of
building community and deepening relationship with
the natural world, to successful models of localised
food production in Aotearoa/NZ and in other parts of
the world.

The key factors in her comprehensive approach are:

  •  resilient food producing communities - with fun
    ways of motivating and organizing whole families
    to get involved!

  • a multi-tiered Permaculture design strategy
    (backyard, neighbourhood, local, regional);

  • extensive and efficient use of local resources,
    including replenishing wild harvest areas;

  • an interactive local seasonal calendar for land
    management, food production, harvest and
    distribution, linked with social-cultural events;

  • Practical education and personal empowerment
    happening hand-in-hand with growing food;

  • enriched regional food economies - increasing local
    and household wealth through growing surplus and
    value adding.

    PRESENTATION
    Robina will address each of these cornerstones in her
    evening slideshow presentation, with a mind-map of
    how they all connect and work together.
