We have had a great response to our solar hot water drive from local residents who are interested in installing a system. We also received many competitive applications from local solar hot water suppliers, which has made our decision-making process more difficult and time consuming than anticipated. We are very excited to announce that the supplier of Sustainable Maleny Project's solar hot water drive is Solahart Sunshine Coast.

Our decision was based on the following criteria that we included in our initial email about the drive:

• Australian owned/manufactured
• Warranty
• Availability of payment plans

Solahart Sunshine Coast provided the best combination of these criteria. (Note: although Solahart is not Australian owned, it is managed and manufactured in Australia.)

Their proposal offers a discount that ranges from 24% to 33% for those paying cash and 11% to 29% discount for those who opt to take advantage of the interest free finance payment plan on offer. The payment plans have a maximum duration of 3 years. The applicable discount depends on the number of people who sign up and pay the deposit before July 9th. The more people who sign up now, the better it is for everyone - so let your friends know!

Solahart Sunshine Coast have also offered a guarantee that residential customers will receive the best possible deal through this group discount; better than if they approached Solahart Sunshine Coast as an individual customer.

In return, Sustainable Maleny Project and Solahart request that purchasers display a small promotional sign or sticker on their property (or car, letterbox, wheelie bin perhaps) that will state that you participated in this solar hot water drive. This will be free of charge and optional.

This offer is open to all until JULY 9th, after which more people can join, but the discount rate will be "locked in" and extra purchases will not increase the overall discount received.
